An area of the house that gets a lot of traffic is our foyer because we pass it every morning and it’s where we greet all our guests, but I haven’t given it much attention in posts so I thought I’d give a little recap of its transformation. Here it is when we first moved in completely beige and with original light fixtures.
For our first party we finally put some display items on it.
Shortly after moving in we got some much needed new light fixtures.
The big transformation happened when the living room trim got painted, it’s just amazing what white paint can do! So much fresher!!
When we first moved in Mace’s dad hung the Harley sign on the wall and it stayed there for months (I think Bob thought I would take it down right away) until it found its permanent home in the garage.
And here’s the foyer after the walls were painted.
The wall tins I made really help fill in that huge blank space.
And here’s the finished foyer bookcase area, so much more welcoming!! With all the other projects we had going on it took us 10 months to get the foyer in this shape but it was worth all the time and energy!
