Aside from paint the biggest transformation in the mini refresh of our very small master bathroom was the vanity cabinet. Here’s a reminder of what it looked like before in its vintage glory.

Since one day we’re going to completely gut this room we didn’t want to buy a new vanity. So Mace decided to craft some new front doors in a basic shaker style, a big improvement over the shutter style.
After we got the new doors installed and a few coats of chalk paint (same color as the kitchen cabinets) on everything it was looking totally different! I also spray painted the hinges to match the new knobs.

And to top it off we picked up a new white vanity sink that fit perfectly from craigslist for $20! All in we spent about $45 in materials (we installed the newer faucet shortly after we moved in). Not bad since we’re gonna have this for a few more years!
