Using a warm, neutral color palette we transformed this dated Rowhome into a welcoming modern farmhouse style home.
We took on our first full-gut investment property last year and are so thrilled with out everything turned out. There were a ton of lessons learned (mainly on my part since my husband is very familiar with construction and why we should have made certain decisions earlier in the planning process) about what to expect with this type of purchase. From budgeting and timelines we definitely went over what we were planning but it all worked out in the end and we have a very solid, higher end rental property now.
I was planning to stage the property but never got around to it because we rented it before it was finished so there wasn't much point after that. I do wish I had furnished images to share so maybe one day down the road I'll get to that. In the mean time, here are some before and after pictures of the main living and bedroom spaces. I would love to take on another renovation project like this but now isn't the right time so we're sitting tight. You can check out the bathroom renovation sources here and here.
