SO. MUCH. POOWWEER!!!!!

As I mentioned before Mace really wanted to be able to have his own workshop in the garage… which in a mans world means TONS OF POWER (insert manly grunts)!!!  A good friend of Mace’s is also a master electrician so we outsourced this step to him because there was a lot of fishing wires through the house and tying the new outlets into the breaker panel. Mace assisted him during the electrical install and after the fact decided to relocate some of the outlets (he decided to move the location of his future workbench).  There is plenty of power now with 7 outlets in the garage, so many tools to use!!!

A man needs options so we put an outlet by the new side door along with a new light switch.

The sconces needed to be moved from inside the garage to the new exterior walls.  We also decided to add two outdoor outlets (there is only one outlet in this pic because Mace added the second one later after lots of discussion) for Xmas lights or other outdoor adventures.

The siding blocks for the outlets & sconces also needed to be properly waterproofed, just like we did with the new window (bottom first, then sides, then top).

New light switches and a spot for the garage opener next to the door also went in.  The biggest change was the addition of 4 ceiling lights, don’t want to lose a finger because its not well lit!

Here’s a shot looking out towards where the garage door would go, you’ll also see a hole in the ceiling where the garage door opener would be installed.  It took a few nights to get the electrical work done but this was our status after 1 month and 4 days after starting.
